Mwadui FC coach blames ref after loss
THE Head Coach of the Shinyanga- based Mwadui FC, Ally Bizimungu has blamed the match referee Enock Onoka following their 1-0 loss to Tanzania Prisons in Mbeya on Monday.
Bizimungu claimed in post match interview at Sokoine Stadium saying referee Onoka from Arusha contributed much to his team’s loss. Onoka was assisted by line 1, Khalfan Sikha (Coast Region) and line 2, Rashid Zongo from Iringa. According to Bizimungu, the referee blew his whistle every time whenever his player touched the ball.
He, however, claimed that his players played well and created a lot of chances but the referee frustrated their efforts. The former Mukura Victory and Rayon Sports coach said he would concentrate with the team’s next matches while promising to rectify some mistakes.
The match lone goal was netted by Laurian Mpalile after an assist from Salum Bosco in the 54th minute. Bizimungu said his team will work hard to make sure they are winning their eleven remaining matches.
Mwadui FC are now set to face Mbeya City at the Sokoine Memorial stadium next Sunday. In their last three matches; Mwadui FC won 3-1 against Mtibwa, drew 2-2 with Simba before losing 1-0 to Tanzania Prisons on Monday.
